Approaches to Securing ‘Positive Behaviour’ in

Carmarthenshire Schools

 

 

This paper aims to set out an overview of current practice and guidance in support of positive behaviour and anti-bullying within our Carmarthenshire schools. Carmarthenshire has a strong and lengthy track record of working effectively within this field, drawing on numerous elements of research and good practice nationally and internationally.

 

The paper contains several links to further reading across the key areas of:

 

a)    School policy

b)    Curriculum provision

c)    Reward systems

d)    Learner Voice

e)    School Councils

f)     Restorative practice

 

We hope that the content demonstrates the variety and range of strategies available to our schools in support of high standards of positive behaviour and our clear expectations of keeping everyone safe from any level of bullying.
